What is Project Graduation? Who should I contact? What do I need to do?

Project Graduation is a fun-filled event held on the night of Graduation.  The celebration begins at 11 PM and ends at 5 AM.  Students are encouraged to participate in this drug-free & alcohol-free environment.  Event includes music, games, food and camaraderie.  Prize drawings will be held.  Spend the night saying goodbye to your fellow graduates.

Class of 2010/Parents,

Welcome to the first SENIOR 2010 UPDATE, the first of several senior updates this year. Thanks for sharing your email addresses with us so that we can keep you abreast of important senior events. This year will pass very quickly for the Class of 2010 and we don’t want you to miss a thing! If you know of someone who did not receive this email or if you have a correction/addition to your own email, contact Crystalterry@insightbb.com. Two other sources of senior information are:

  • Facebook - Male Project Graduation has a Facebook page (thanks to Marina Gonzalez.)

In October, you should have received a mailing describing Project Graduation, detailing events and asking for your $25 donation. Although this event is free to all seniors, we ask each student to donate $25 to help cover costs of food/prizes/ entertainment/facility rental, etc. If you did not receive your mailing, please see Form attached. Please complete the Donation/Volunteer Form and send it to school with your donation, Attn: Project Graduation.

Our first Project Graduation meeting was held Wednesday, November 5. Eighteen senior parents attended. We are working to organize committees and raise funds to pay for Project Graduation but we need lots of help. Whether you can attend planning meetings, donate door prizes/food/services, make copies at your place of business, donate postage, we need YOU! We have restaurant fundraisers planned nearly every month throughout the year, however, we would like to have major fundraisers in February and April/May. We have discussed the following. Please let us know your thoughts/willingness to help.

Please plan to attend and tell other interested senior or underclass parents.  Meetings (November - April) will be held the first Thursday of each month at 6PM in the Cafe.

Fund-raising

  • Monday, January 18, 5 - 9PM at McAlister's at Stonybrook.  No voucher needed.  Project Graduation receives 10% of the entire sales between 5 - 9pm.  Bring your friends and family!
  • Tuesday, March 9, 5 -10PM at California Pizza Kitchen, Oxmoor Mall.  Same guidelines as above.  Voucher will be posted on this website when available.
